COOPERATION

3D-GREC is the result of an effort conceived and coordinated by Zeta And Co E.P.E. with the collaboration of the Turbomachines & Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, School of Production Engineering & Management, Technical University of Crete.

ZETA AND CO E.P.E.

www.zetaandco.com

Zeta And Co E.P.E. is a company based in Ioannina where it started its activity in 2021. It is actively engaged in research in the field of mechanical engineering and the provision of digital engineering services. Services provided include:

  • Software development to customize/modify commercial software packages, create custom user interfaces, and automate repetitive processes.
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) from the level of capturing initial ideas, up to detailed construction design, integration studies of complex electro-mechanical installations and digital assembly of large constructions (assemblies).
  • Analysis through simulations (CAE). In early design stages, simulation methods are used to guide the conception of possible designs. Simulations are also used during the final assessment of strength and reliability of a product and its required certification based on European or other regulations.
  • Computational fluid mechanics (CFD), specialized studies of aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, heat transfer and fluid-solid interaction.
  • Product life cycle management (PLM) includes management of all design data, from the initial concept, to the phase of manufacturing, use, maintenance and final decommission and recycling of a product on a suitable digital platform.
As far as 3D-GREC is concerned, Zeta And Co E.P.E. is the main implementation body and is responsible for the development of the software as well as the completion of the individual computational solutions in the final offered product.
